Rep. Grohman appointed to Legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee

AUGUSTA – State Rep. Martin Grohman, D-Biddeford, has been appointed to the Legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

The committee oversees policy relating to the Maine Criminal Code, Maine Juvenile Code, Maine Bail Code, criminal law and criminal procedure, sentencing, Criminal Law Advisory Commission, Department of Public Safety, law enforcement, Criminal Justice Academy, and victims’ rights.

Rep. Grohman is serving his second term in the Maine House and represents part of Biddeford.
